Danfoss is seeking a Director, HR Executive Office & Governance to shape the strategic HR agenda across a global function supporting the LEAP 2030 strategy. You will partner with the EVP of Group HR and HR Leadership Team to ensure alignment, prioritization and execution of high-impact initiatives.

In this role you’ll act as a trusted advisor and connector, translating complex topics into clear recommendations while driving cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Strategy, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Significant experience in strategy, management consulting, HR leadership, executive office, PMO, or a similar strategic role within a global and matrixed organization.
• Proven experience partnering with senior executives and influencing stakeholders across functions, regions, and organizational levels.
• Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear recommendations.
• Strong business acumen, strategic agility, and a track record of driving initiatives from concept through implementation.

• Drive governance and execution of the Global HR Strategic Roadmap across HR Centers of Excellence and corporate functions.

As Director, HR Executive Office & Governance, you will play a pivotal role at the center of Danfoss\'s global HR organization. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, Group HR, you will help shape and drive the strategic agenda across a global HR function that supports the company\'s business ambitions including our LEAP 2030 strategy. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives in a complex, international environment and enjoys turning ideas into action. You will work closely with senior HR leaders, business stakeholders, and corporate functions to ensure alignment, clear priorities, and strong execution of key strategic initiatives. Success in this role means creating focus where there is complexity, enabling effective decision-making at the highest levels, and helping the HR leadership team deliver on its most important priorities. You will serve as a trusted advisor, connector, and driver of progress across a global organization.

What You\’ll Be Doing

You will act as a strategic partner to the EVP, Group HR and the HR Leadership Team, helping ensure that priorities, decisions, and initiatives are aligned and successfully executed.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Lead the preparation, coordination, and narrative development for executive forums, including HR Board meetings, Business Review Meetings, HR Leadership Team meetings, and other strategic leadership engagements.


• Drive governance and execution of the Global HR Strategic Roadmap, ensuring alignment across HR Centers of Excellence, business segments, and corporate functions.


• Act as a key connector across stakeholders, fostering collaboration, facilitating decision-making, and ensuring strategic priorities are translated into action.


• Lead and deliver high-impact cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives, often in a matrix environment without direct reporting authority.


• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior HR leaders by providing strategic insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting complex organizational and people-related initiatives.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Likely Bring

• A master\'s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Strategy, Organizational Development, or a related field.


• Significant experience in strategy, management consulting, HR leadership, executive office, PMO, or a similar strategic role within a global and matrixed organization.


• Proven experience partnering with senior executives and influencing stakeholders across functions, regions, and organizational levels.


• Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear recommendations and compelling narratives.


• Strong business acumen, strategic agility, and a track record of driving initiatives from concept through implementation.

Experience from industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or from consulting companies operating in complex international organizations would be an advantage. Fluency in English is required, while Danish or German language skills are considered a plus.
