Job summary

Gattaca in Denmark is seeking a Design Manager / Lead Structural Engineer to drive offshore wind foundation design, leading a team across concept, FEED to detailed design.

You will oversee primary and secondary steel structures, work with clients and fabrication teams, ensure safe, efficient, and commercially viable foundation solutions; strong leadership is required.

Requires degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of offshore wind foundation experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
8+ years of structural engineering experience in offshore wind foundations.
Strong leadership and project delivery experience.
Experience with primary and secondary steel design for offshore structures.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design of offshore wind turbine foundations.
Oversee primary and secondary steel design and verification.
Mentor and manage a team of structural engineers and designers.
Coordinate multidisciplinary activities across international projects.
Review calculations, reports, and design deliverables.
Interface with clients, fabricators, and certification bodies.
Drive innovation in foundation design methodologies.
