Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our R&D Drivetrain team in Denmark. You will develop wind turbine components from concept through validation, performing structural analyses and documenting results to ensure integrity and compliance.

You will collaborate with a global team, contribute to cost-aware designs, and support certification activities using FE models matched to real prototypes and test data.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• At least 5 years in product development and structural design.
• Proficiency in FEA software: Ansys, Workbench, APDL, Abaqus.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter Siemens PLM and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Release designs that meet structural integrity requirements (strength, stiffness, lifespan) within cost and size constraints.
• Own structural calculations and documentation in collaboration with designers.
• Advise designers on design concepts and details to improve quality.
• Prepare project deliverables including MCRs and support certification by correlating FE models with prototypes and test results.
