Vattenfall is seeking a Junior Wind Turbine Foundation Installation Engineer for offshore projects, based in a hybrid workplace with options in Hamburg, Kolding, or Amsterdam. The role focuses on delivering foundation installation engineering tasks across the BU Offshore portfolio while coordinating with the Installation Manager.
The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree with 3+ years of offshore experience, knowledge of installation equipment, and strong intercultural collaboration
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of offshore foundation installation project engineering.
- Good knowledge of offshore installation equipment and systems.
- Ability to identify installation topics balancing technical, commercial and permitting aspects.
- Strong intercultural awareness and ability to work across borders.
- Interest in digitalization and implementing opportunities in wind industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide Offshore turbine foundation installation engineering expertise to Offshore Wind projects.
- Be accountable for individual projects in delivery phases to support the Installation Manager.
- Responsible for project-specific engineering tasks in the development phase.
- Provide HSE leadership in offshore cable installation methodologies.
- Contribute to team growth by owning development work packages.
- Develop competencies in project management and offshore installation methodologies.
