Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, is seeking an Decoration Manager to guide decoration development from design to production. You will support early prepress decisions and drive cross-functional processes to ensure high-quality decorations on LEGO bricks across global production sites.

The role sits in R&D Processing Novelty Development, connecting Design to manufacturing and shaping how graphics mature into final decoration while mitigating risk and sustaining product storytelling.

Qualifications

  • Technical education or hands-on experience in product development, design engineering or graphic production.
  • Experience with manufacturing print technologies in close partnership with design teams.
  • Comfortable using Adobe Illustrator to review graphics and discuss technical constraints.
  • Structured planning habits with ability turning learnings into documented procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Set decision paths between Design, Processing and manufacturing, keeping sign-offs clear and documented.
  • Maintain and develop decoration guidelines that protect process capability, print quality and intended model expression.

  • Build business cases and lead improvement projects for capability upgrades, automation and smarter ways of working.

Job Description Just imagine bringing LEGO® decorations from design screen to production line. Then make it real! As Decoration Manager in Billund, you'll guide decoration development by supporting and driving early graphic prepress decisions with design organization, while following and optimizing cross-functional processes, to ensure graphics mature to a high quality decoration on LEGO® bricks produced at the global production sites. Play your part in our team succeeding Decoration Development sits in R&D Processing Novelty Development, shaping how graphics become high-quality decorations for new LEGO® models. The team operates in the field of prepress, connecting Design to manufacturing so decoration choices protect intent, reduce production risk and keep novelty flow moving. Here, ideas get bounced around, tested and rebuilt with colleagues across the value chain.

Core Responsibilities

Do you have what it takes? Technical education or hands-on experience in product development, design engineering or graphic production. Experience with manufacturing print technologies in close partnership with design teams. Comfortable using Adobe Illustrator to review graphics and discuss technical constraints. Structured planning habits, with confidence turning learnings into documented clear procedures.

Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with pad printing, tampo print, press methods or similar techniques.
  • Interest in Power BI, data insight and process digitalisation.

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
