Job summary

Lunar in Aarhus is hiring a Data Scientist to bring data and machine learning into fraud prevention, risk management, and business growth.

You will design, build, and deploy ML models, run experimentation frameworks, perform feature engineering, and partner with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to turn insights into decisions, while documenting methods and sharing GenAI advances.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying ML models in production.
• Strong Python programming and ML library experience.
• Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Kubeflow) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy ML models for fraud detection and risk.
• Develop experimentation and evaluation frameworks with robust benchmarks.
• Perform feature engineering to improve model performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and stakeholders to convert insights into decisions.
• Document models and methods and apply GenAI advances in practice.
