Lunar is a Nordic challenger bank building the future of financial life with AI at the core. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Data Platform & Governance squad in Copenhagen, reporting to a senior leader. You will build reliable data pipelines, governance, and infrastructure that power analytics and AI across Lunar.

You will lead 5–10 engineers, shape engineering culture, manage performance, and partner with product and business stakeholders to ship impactful data solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading engineering teams.
• Strong data engineering experience across platforms.
• Ability to drive governance and data quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Data Platform & Governance squad, shaping culture and performance.
• Own the performance and development of 5–10 engineers with regular feedback.
• Drive core data pipelines, storage, and modelling for the organization.
• Define and raise the bar on data governance and quality standards.
• Enable AI ambitions by ensuring data is structured and accessible.
