Lunar ApS, a Nordic challenger bank, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer for the Money Core squads based in Aarhus. You will own banking domains, integrate with external partners, and build scalable systems powering payments and core banking with AI-enabled enhancements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborative team player who shares knowledge.
• Clear communication in a cross-functional team.
• Golang is a plus, not required.
• Financial or trading experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of critical banking domains, developing and maintaining the systems that keep our banking products running on a solid, reliable foundation
• Integrate with external partners to extend and strengthen what our platform can do
• Keep our systems highly available and resilient, while looking for new ways to make the customer experience better
• Explore how AI can enhance the banking experience for our customers, from first idea to production
• Share what you know and help the people around you grow, while staying open to learning from them too
