Job summary

Lunar, the Nordic challenger bank, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Data Platform & Governance squad in Copenhagen. You will report to Jesper and build a clean, well-governed data infrastructure powering analytics, AI, and regulatory reporting.

You will shape the engineering culture, mentor 5–10 engineers, own data pipelines and governance, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders to enable Lunar's AI ambitions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Experience in data engineering or data infrastructure.
• Strong communication with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ability to define and raise the bar on governance and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Data Platform & Governance squad.
• Own the performance and development of 5–10 engineers.
• Deliver reliable data pipelines, storage, and modelling.
• Collaborate with Insights & Data to separate infrastructure and analytics.
• Enable AI ambitions by ensuring data is structured and accessible.
