Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Lead Data Platform Engineer to own and evolve our enterprise data platform in a cloud-first environment. You will shape architecture, governance, and reliability while balancing speed and cost.

You will collaborate with Data & AI, Engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable platform capabilities, implement IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Platform Engineering or related disciplines.
• Hands-on with cloud data architectures and Terraform (IaC).
• Strong Python and SQL skills and software engineering practices.
• Experience owning production-grade data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture of a modern cloud-based data platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain platform infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Promote engineering standards, platform best practices, and deployment approaches.
• Enhance CI/CD, DataOps, automation, and platform engineering capabilities.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability across critical services.
• Improve platform reliability, resilience, incident management, and recovery processes.
• Drive security initiatives including IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and service account governance.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities that accelerate delivery across Data Engineering teams.
