Job summary

WPP in Copenhagen is hiring a Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a global data and AI platform. You will work with data scientists, data engineers, QA and IT to streamline workflows and improve reliability.

This hands-on role requires strong experience with AWS or GCP, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and robust automation. We embrace a hybrid work model with four days in the office and flexible accommodations during the interview

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Platform or Cloud Engineering.
• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Proficient in IaC tooling (HashiCorp).
• Deep containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong CI/CD and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable cloud-native systems for Spark and AI workloads.
• Implement Terraform-based IaC and multi-account environments.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for data workloads.
• Optimize costs and latency of high-scale data services.
• Build automations with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Argo.
• Ensure security scans, testing, and compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and product teams.
• Champion DRY and DevOps practices.
