Job summary

Saxo Bank is establishing the Markets Data Office in Aarhus to govern critical data across Markets. As a Data Portfolio Analyst, you will take ownership of data governance activities within your domain, working with data owners, data stewards and technology teams to improve how data is defined, monitored and controlled.

Qualifications

• Several years of banking experience and data governance exposure.
• Ability to translate data issues into business context and actionable steps.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on data analysis and data quality monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ongoing data governance activities within your domain and drive them forward.
• Identify and document Critical Data Attributes (CDAs) with stakeholders and govern Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
• Analyse data with data owners to assess quality, identify issues and lead root cause investigations.
• Define and maintain data definitions, rules, thresholds and documentation used in monitoring and control activities.
• Monitor data quality outputs, track remediation and escalate when issues persist.
• Build strong relationships with data owners, data stewards and stakeholders across business and technology.
