Data Centre Electrical Lead - Construction Project

Job summary

Earthstream is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to join a major data centre construction project in Denmark. This role will be responsible for leading and managing electrical activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and critical power infrastructure.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Degree, HNC/HND, or recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Commissioning experience.
• Relevant industry certifications and safety qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation activities on the data centre project.
• Coordinate and oversee electrical subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor project progress against programme milestones and proactively address delays or risks.
• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, industry standards, and health & safety requirements.
• Review and manage drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and design changes.
