Job summary

Digital Realty Trust, L.P. is seeking a Technician II to execute Service Requests and Remote Hands for customer environments, ensuring uninterrupted data center operations.

You will assist in implementing technical projects, draft SOPs and RAMS, and contribute to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement while mentoring junior technicians. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are required to handle client requests and document outcomes effectively in a fast-paced data center

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Telecommunications, IT or electrotechnical network infrastructure
• Proficient in optical fibre installations and wiring networks
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Excellent communication with customers and handling requests/complaints
• Familiar with service-oriented software, tasks handling and administration

Responsibilities

• Execute Service Requests and Remote Hands for customers
• Assist in customer implementations and project setups
• Draft and ensure execution of RAMS, MOPs, and SOPs
• Develop Emergency Operating Procedures and escalation procedures for First Line Facility support
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations; report on customer requests
• Document progress, issues, and outcomes; contribute to continuous improvement
• Provide supervision, training, mentoring to technicians; support team development
• Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of essential skills, including troubleshooting
