Job summary

Trane Technologies in Denmark is seeking a Data Center Equipment Sales Engineer to grow account share and build trusted client relationships. You will drive direct sales of cooling and thermal management solutions to data centers, while identifying opportunities and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to order closure.

The role requires a technical engineering background and at least 3 years in technical sales, with fluency in Danish and English and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related technical background.
• Minimum 3 years in technical sales, preferably in data center or HVAC.
• Proficiency in Danish and English; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive direct sales of data center cooling and thermal management solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage the full sales process from opportunity to order closure.
• Present customer proposals with internal teams.
• Negotiate pricing and terms within guidelines.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Deliver high customer satisfaction and drive growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
• Keep CRM and sales pipeline up to date.
• Participate in marketing and customer-facing events.
