Job summary

Tekla is seeking a copywriter to steward and grow its voice across multiple channels, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality communications. This fixed-term maternity cover, full-time in Copenhagen, requires autonomy and a strong brand tone.

You’ll support messaging across brand, product, ecommerce, and internal communications, with a 10–12 month window. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in copywriting, with a lifestyle/design/fashion background, sharp editing skills,

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in copywriting, preferably within a lifestyle, design or fashion background.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Collaborative and proactive team player.
• Demonstrated experience working within a brand tone of voice.
• Comfortable working with autonomy and taking ownership of tasks.
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple relationships and workstreams simultaneously.
• Native-level fluency in English.
• Interest in design, craft and the Tekla brand.
• Agency and in-house experience both relevant.

Responsibilities

• Refine and execute key messaging across channels.
• Execute multi-channel copy to high standard (press releases, CRM, social, paid media, editorial, retail materials).
• Ensure brand voice consistency across touchpoints and collaborate with channel owners.
• Support product storytelling around collection launches and communicate product quality details.
• Write ecommerce copy and collaborate with teams across the user journey; support messaging for customer service.
• Follow SEO and AEO best practices while maintaining brand voice; produce sales materials for wholesale.

Job description

Tekla is looking for a copywriter to maintain and expand its voice, working with multiple channels and stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality written communications at all touchpoints. Reporting to the Marketing Activation Manager, you will be a vital part of campaign development and execution, brand perception, and day-to-day Brand and Marketing operations, while collaborating closely with the wider team.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract for maternity cover, running for ten to twelve months, and requires someone comfortable writing within our established tone of voice. It is a full-time position based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Brand and Marketing

• Help refine and execute key messaging.
• Execute multi-channel copy to the highest standard, including press releases, CRM, social media, paid media, editorial content and retail materials.
• Ensure consistent brand voice across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with channel owners to align business needs with creative output.

Product

• Support product teams in articulating storytelling around collection launches.
• Capture technical and material detail to support accurate communication around product quality.
• Support with product and colour naming.

Commercial channels

• Write all ecommerce copy and collaborate with teams across the user journey.
• Support ecommerce and customer service teams with messaging and copy.
• Follow SEO and AEO best practices while maintaining brand voice.
• Produce sales materials for wholesale teams, including linesheets and sales presentations.
• Support retail teams with direct client communications.

Internal communications

• Maintain consistent language and terminology across the business.

Ad hoc

• Support the wider business with ad hoc copy requests.
• Review copy for any additional external communications on behalf of the brand.
