Job summary

1 Hotel Copenhagen is seeking a friendly Concierge to be the face of our luxury property, assisting guests with requests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless flow of operations throughout the hotel. Your success hinges on knowledge of local attractions, superb English communication, and the ability to multitask calmly under pressure while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Concierge or Guest Service role in a luxury hotel.
• Knowledgeable about local attractions, restaurants, nightlife, and landmarks.
• Comfortable with technology and HMS and devices; quick to learn new tools.
• Able to multitask effectively and perform under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication, organization and time-management skills.
• Strong math skills and cash handling procedures.
• Must be fluent in English with strong written and spoken communication.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks.
• Remain calm under stress and resolve conflicts with guests or team members.
• Maintain a professional appearance aligning with the brand and culture.
• Flexible to work a 24-hour operation, including holidays and weekends.
• Additional language skills preferred but not required.

You will handle various tasks such as assisting with guest requests, managing reservations, and maintaining a seamless flow of operations throughout the hotel. Your ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure will be key in delivering the outstanding service that 1 Hotel is known for. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a strong knowledge of local attractions, we want to hear from you!

About you...

• Previous experience in a Concierge or Guest Service role in a luxury hotel.
• Highly knowledgeable about local attractions, restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment, including theatres, and city landmarks.
• Comfortable with technology and systems, including the Hotel Management System (HMS) and devices, and capable of learning new tools quickly.
• Ability to multitask effectively and work efficiently under pressure while keeping a positive attitude.
• Professional with strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Strong math skills and knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized register systems.
• Fluent in both oral and written English, with excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to follow verbal/written instructions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to maintain composure in stressful situations and effectively resolve conflicts with guests or team members.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that aligns with 1 Hotel's brand and culture.
• Flexible to work a 24-hour operation, including holidays and weekends, to meet the business needs of the hotel.
• Additional language skills are preferred but not required.
