Lead and further develop DSV’s largest international subsidiary

DSV Frø Danmark A/S is looking for a commercially driven and experienced CEO to lead the continued development of a strong and well-established business with approximately 70 employees and activities across production, supply chain and sales.

The position

As CEO, you will have full P&L responsibility for DSV Frø Danmark and overall responsibility for the company’s activities. You will lead an experienced organisation and play a central role in setting the strategic direction and ensuring continued profitable growth and operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Developer and execute the strategic direction for DSV Frø Danmark
• Drive commercial growth and strengthen market positions in Denmark and Scandinavia
• Continuously improve production, supply chain and logistics with focus on efficiency and competitiveness
• Lead and develop the organisation and ensure a strong management and employee pipeline
• Drive business development and identify new market segments and product opportunities
• Manage investments and support the continued modernisation and digitalisation of the business
• Maintain strong relationships with growers, distributors, customers and other key stakeholders
• Contribute actively to strategic initiatives and collaboration across the international DSV Group

You will report to the Chairman of the Board and work closely with DSV Group Management in Germany.

Your profile

You are an experienced and commercially oriented leader with a broad business perspective and the ability to combine strategic leadership with a pragmatic and operational approach.

Ideally, you bring:

• Strong leadership experience, including leadership of leaders
• Experience from a large international corporation with P&L responsibility from a business unit, subsidiary or company
• A solid understanding of production and the full supply chain combined with commercial insight
• Preferably experience from agriculture, food or another industry involving biological products
• A relevant higher education within business, engineering, agronomy or similar

You are self-driven, curious and able to create followership. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, as you must be equally comfortable engaging with employees and growers as with customers, board members and international colleagues.

You are fluent in Danish and English. The position requires a significant presence at the headquarters in Holstebro, combined with visits to the Slagelse site and occasional travel to Germany.

A highly influential leadership position in a financially sound and successful company with a strong market position, loyal employees and a short distance from decision to action. You will have considerable freedom to develop the Danish business while being part of an established international group – and a clear mandate to shape the next stage of DSV Frø Danmark’s development.
