Job summary

Svogerslev Kro 2021 ApS in Svogerslev near Roskilde is seeking a skilled chef to join our kitchen team. Your responsibilities include preparing hot and cold dishes for à la carte menus, events and celebrations, performing mise en place, and presenting dishes to a high standard.

You will ensure hygiene and food safety, manage stock and deliveries, assist with closing, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a restaurant kitchen.
• Reliable, efficient and takes pride in work.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to communicate in Danish or English.
• Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Preparing hot and cold dishes for à la carte menus, events and celebrations.
• Daily mise en place, cooking and plating to a high standard.
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen organisation.
• Ordering ingredients, receiving deliveries and managing stock.
• Participating in cleaning and closing of the kitchen.
