Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions A/S is the Danish subsidiary of ST Engineering, a global technology, defence, and engineering group. The Business Controller will bridge finance and operations, driving data-driven decisions and profitability through SAP/BI data.

You will lead month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and provide actionable insights to support strategic initiatives across the organisation in a production and service environment.

Qualifications

Business controlling and operational insight

As Business Controller at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions A/S, you will report directly to the Finance Director and play a pivotal role in strengthening the finance function, supporting better business decision-making, and contributing to the company's digital and analytical transformation, including BI, automation, and AI-based analysis.

Your core responsibilities will include business controlling, month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting business and management decision-making. You thrive at the intersection of finance, data, and business. Leveraging data from SAP R/3, SQL databases, Excel, and, over time, SAP S/4HANA and BI tools, you identify the underlying drivers of performance deviations and transform complex analyses into clear commercial insights that enable informed decision-making.

Persistent, curious and business oriented

We expect you to bring at least 3 years of experience from a similar role, such as Business Controller, Finance Business Partner, or equivalent. Ideally, you come from a production or service business where finance is closely linked to orders, projects, operations, and profitability. You bring a solid finance foundation and a relevant degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a similar field, combined with a clear motivation to work close to operations and support the business through data analysis, insight, and decision support. You have hands‑on experience with month‑end and year‑end closing, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, building Excel KPI models, and working with larger datasets, including data extracts and/or BI tools. Experience from an international group and cross‑border collaboration would be a clear advantage.
