Job summary

Bavarian Nordic in Denmark is seeking a QC Biochemistry Scientist to support daily laboratory activities, review biochemical test records, and ensure data quality in line with cGMP. You will troubleshoot assays, investigate deviations, and contribute to method development and validation.

You will maintain qualified equipment, support documentation, and collaborate with team members to strengthen our quality system and ensure robust release testing of vaccines.

Qualifications

• A scientific academic degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology, or related discipline.
• Laboratory experience with strong quality mindset.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate raw data and review biochemical test records for accuracy and compliance.
• Investigate analytical issues, prepare deviations, OOS/OT investigations, CAPAs.
• Develop, validate, and implement new techniques and assays; perform method reviews.
• Support equipment qualification and periodic system reviews.
• Prepare and scientifically review SOPs, protocols, and validation reports.
• Train colleagues and coordinate project-related activities; support quality system.
