Job summary

Bavarian Nordic A/S is seeking a Manager of the Biochemistry scientist team to lead a group of technicians and scientists across two teams. You will drive method development, validation and comparability testing while ensuring adherence to cGMP and the Bavarian Nordic Quality Management System.

The role partners with QC, manufacturing and stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytical results and improved lead times.

Qualifications

• Relevant scientific degree with GMP-regulated pharma/biotech experience.
• Experience in QC biochemistry or analytical testing and method development/validation.
• Leadership experience in QC or laboratory setting and coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the scientist team with clear direction and feedback.
• Ensure quality, robust processes and data integrity across analytical activities.
• Balance scientific and operational priorities and manage workload and risks.
• Collaborate with QC, manufacturing and stakeholders to improve workflows and lead continuous improvement.
