Job summary

GoWish is hiring a Backend Engineer to design, build, and own scalable backend services using TypeScript and NestJS, delivering instant, personal experiences for millions of users. You’ll craft GraphQL APIs for internal teams and consumers and own architecture, deployments, and monitoring in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

You should have 5+ years as an engineer with 3+ years owning backend systems, strong TS/NestJS skills, GraphQL experience, and solid SQL knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an engineer with backend ownership
• Strong experience with TypeScript and NestJS
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and APIs
• Proficient with Git and version control
• Good understanding of SQL

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services using TypeScript and NestJS
• Build and evolve GraphQL APIs for internal teams and consumers
• Take ownership of services end-to-end, including architecture, deployments, monitoring, and scaling
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical roadmaps
