Job summary

Novo is seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Centre for Structure & Interactions. You will design, run and interpret experiments using SPR and fluorescence-based assays to understand how therapeutic molecules interact with targets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant discipline with hands-on lab experience.
• 0–2 years of working experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Experience with proteins/peptides or biochemical assays.
• Understanding of experimental controls, reproducibility and data quality.
• Structured documentation and safety-conscious approach to experiments.
• Strong collaboration and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, perform and evaluate experiments using SPR, fluorescence assays and related techniques.
• Contribute to experimental planning and troubleshooting within study plans.
• Analyze and interpret results for implications on molecular design and candidate selection.
• Take ownership of experiments and build independence over time.
• Share knowledge with scientists and lab technicians to improve team workflows.
