Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking an experienced Principal ADME Scientist to assess ADME and DDI risks from late-stage discovery through development and regulatory submission. You will provide scientific leadership, guide project decisions, and collaborate with CROs, internal teams, and regulatory bodies to advance drug candidates.

You will drive innovative ADME initiatives, translate complex data into actionable strategies, and mentor junior scientists in a collaborative, science-driven environment

Qualifications

• Ph.D. is preferred or Master’s degree within pharmaceutical or medical sciences or equivalent area.
• Several years of relevant ADME/DDI experience in pharma/biotech industry.
• Bioanalytical and mass spectrometric approaches for characterization and quantification of drug candidates and metabolites.
• Solid experience with ADME and DDI study conduct.
• Strong ability to identify challenges, develop strategies, and translate them into study designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, conduct, and interpret in vitro and in vivo ADME and DDI studies across modalities.
• Inform and guide projects on ADME- and DDI-related topics.
• Interact with regulatory authorities and contribute to regulatory documents.
• Champion innovation and new scientific initiatives by reviewing literature and advancements.
• Translate results into the appropriate scientific context to support project decisions.
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior scientists and colleagues.
