Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S in Måløv, Capital Region of Denmark, is seeking a Sr. Manager to lead a 23-person analytical characterisation team. You will guide biophysical analysis and characterization of dosage forms, set priorities and drive reliable results at scale.

You will report to the department head and collaborate across R&D, CMC and Global Manufacturing & Supply to shape strategy, develop talent and ensure timely reporting to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry or related field.
• At least three years of experience leading scientific or technical teams in pharmaceutical development or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to develop people, foster collaboration and deliver through others.
• Ability to balance high-volume operational work with longer-term goals.
• Ability to set measurable goals and translate strategy into practical plans.
• Clear communication and strong cross-functional relationships across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and unite a team of 23 scientists, specialists and technicians, building trust and providing feedback.
• Prioritise a high volume of analytical work and ensure timely, reliable reporting for informed decisions.
• Set measurable goals, monitor outcomes and translate departmental priorities into practical team plans.
• Support development of analytical methods and improve ways of working across the team.
• Drive initiatives that support GMS and CMC strategy and build capacity for future product pipelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to support product development and regulatory submissions.
