Job summary

Salling Group is seeking an AI Solution Architect to bridge business needs with AI development, data, platforms, and enterprise architecture. You will translate opportunities into practical designs and guide decisions from concept through deployment and operation.

You will join the ML/AI team, collaborating with stakeholders, Product Owners, AI Developers, platform teams, data specialists, and Enterprise Architects to implement AI and generative AI initiatives across brands.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and operating software, data, AI, and ML solutions.
• Ability to translate business problems into coherent technical solutions with value, risk, cost, and security considerations.
• Understanding of software architecture, APIs, data flows, and cloud platforms, plus ML lifecycle from development to monitoring.
• Strong communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs and opportunities into clear, actionable AI solution designs covering data, models, applications, integrations, deployment, and lifecycle.
• Evaluate solution options and communicate architectural choices and trade-offs for scalable, secure, cost-conscious, maintainable systems.
• Guide implementation with AI Developers and other technical specialists through architectural direction and timely decisions.
• Stay hands-on by building prototypes and architecture-critical components to validate designs and reduce risk.
• Define reusable patterns, guardrails, interfaces, and documentation, and support reliable operation through observability and lifecycle management.
• Create alignment across business areas, development, data and platform teams, security, and enterprise architecture.
