Job summary

T-Systems Nordic seeks a Senior AI Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI solutions across public and private sectors. This role blends technical depth with business transformation, focusing on Agentic AI, Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and Conversational AI to unlock value for Northern Europe clients.

You will work with stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready AI platforms

Qualifications

• Proven track record translating business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
• Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/AI/Engineering.
• Extensive experience with enterprise-scale AI, ML, and Generative AI solutions.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, and modern AI architectures.
• Experience with AI engineering practices, orchestration frameworks, and production-grade platforms.
• Proficiency with cloud-native AI on Azure/AWS/GCP and Python.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and architect enterprise-grade AI solutions leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, and RAG.
• Lead prototypes, PoCs, and production-ready AI solutions delivering measurable business value.
• Define AI architecture principles, standards, and roadmaps aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, cloud specialists, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to customer needs.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with security, governance, and Responsible AI requirements.
• Drive the integration of AI capabilities into existing processes and enterprise systems.
• Support customer engagements, workshops, pre-sales activities, and strategic discussions on AI transformation.
• Mentor colleagues on AI architecture, engineering practices, and emerging technologies.

This is a highly hands-on role for an experienced architect who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of business transformation. You will help define the future of AI at T-Systems while delivering real-world impact for some of Northern Europe's most demanding and regulated organisations.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and architect enterprise-grade AI solutions leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), machine learning, and intelligent automation technologies.
• Lead the development of prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Define AI architecture principles, technical standards, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture strategies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, cloud specialists, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable AI solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools, and assess their applicability to customers and business needs.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with security, governance, regulatory, and responsible AI requirements.
• Drive the integration of AI capabilities into existing business processes, platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Support customer engagements, workshops, pre-sales activities, and strategic discussions related to AI transformation.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and internal stakeholders on AI architecture, adoption, and best practices.
• Drive innovation initiatives and contribute to the evolution of T-Systems' AI and Digital portfolio.
• Mentor and guide colleagues on AI architecture, AI engineering practices, and emerging technologies.

Skills/Experience:

• Proven track record of translating business challenges into scalable AI and digital solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale AI, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions.
• Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Conversational AI, and modern AI application architectures.
• Experience with AI engineering practices, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and production-grade AI platforms.
• Proven expertise in cloud-native AI solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building production-ready AI applications and services.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data platforms, integration patterns, and data engineering principles.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operationalization of AI models and services.
• Proven knowledge of AI governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI principles.
• Experience engaging with customers and business stakeholders, translating requirements into technical architectures and solution roadmaps.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience as an AI Architect, Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, or similar senior technical leadership role.
