Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences, preferably Master’s or PhD.
• Strategic mindset with ability to structure ambiguity and connect opportunities with priorities.
• Proven track record leading high-impact initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong digital and AI understanding; experience shaping scalable technology within large organisations.
• Experience in large pharma or life sciences organisations across scientific, technical and business functions.
• Excellent communication and English fluency.
• Experience from management consulting or digital transformation.
• Direct experience in pharmaceutical or biotech R&D settings.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic AI and digital priorities into execution across R&D, from target discovery through to clinical development.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives across R&D, including collaborations with external partners and technology leaders.
• Provide strategic guidance and coordination across AI initiatives, ensuring alignment between scientific objectives, technology capabilities and business priorities.
• Act as a trusted partner who translates between scientific, technical and business perspectives to support informed decision-making.
• Build alignment across senior stakeholders and drive complex initiatives through to successful delivery in a global matrix organisation.
