Job summary
EG invites a Software Architect to shape the technical direction of EG Ajour, applying AI to reduce complexity and enable faster delivery. You will lead architectural decisions, guide development, and own the AI strategy and roadmap.
You will collaborate with developers, Product Owner and Product Manager, explaining trade-offs and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for an international team.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of AI and its daily application in engineering work.
- Solid experience in software design, development and architecture.
- Experience solving problems with significant data complexity.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong communication skills: explain complexity to developers and stakeholders.
- Genuine interest in coaching and mentoring developers.
Responsibilities
- Design and own scalable, maintainable software architecture that the team can scope and deliver.
- Translate complex requirements into clear designs and explain trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Define and implement the AI strategy for Ajour within the first 6 months.
- Own the technical roadmap and reduce codebase complexity within the first year using AI.
- Coach and support developers from design through code review and collaborate with Product Manager on feasibility and scalability.
- Ensure quality, security and performance of the architecture and document decisions.
