Job summary

Systematic Copenhagen is seeking a Software Architect to lead the design of AI-driven solutions and multi-agent systems using Java and Python. You will define the technical vision, drive architectural strategy, and ensure scalable, safe software with strong test coverage.

The role involves building architectures for AI agents, integrating tools, and aligning with product teams across Aarhus and Copenhagen. Expect travel and collaboration in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including a software architecture role.
• Strong backend development experience in Java; familiarity with frontend architectures.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into robust software architectures for AI agents, multi-agent orchestration and RAG pipelines.
• Design and implement AI agents, including tool definitions, action groups and knowledge base integrations.
• Ensure safe outcomes via human-in-the-loop design and guardrails with traceability and transparency.
• Write production-grade Java code with tests, logging and robust error handling.
• Establish and maintain technology standards and evaluate new technologies.
