Job summary

Novo Nordisk A/S is pursuing AI-driven procurement leadership within Global Direct Procurement. The role focuses on turning data, analytics and AI opportunities into scalable solutions that deliver tangible business value across the organization.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define initiatives, build business cases and drive adoption of AI-enabled strategies that support Novo Nordisk’s mission to improve patient lives.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in digital transformation, AI, analytics, technology consulting, data-driven business development or similar areas.
• Experience developing or delivering AI-enabled solutions, including exposure to large language models and modern AI technologies.
• Knowledge in machine learning, advanced analytics, data engineering or business intelligence.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to challenge, influence and guide decision-making across different organizational levels.
• Experience within procurement, supply chain, life sciences or other highly regulated industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, define opportunities and identify where AI and digital solutions can create the greatest value.
• Build and prioritize a portfolio of AI initiatives, developing business cases, success metrics, roadmaps and adoption strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Lead AI-enabled transformation initiatives from discovery through deployment and scale, collaborating with product teams, data specialists and business leaders across Novo Nordisk.
• Act as a trusted advisor, challenging assumptions, influencing decisions and helping leaders navigate opportunities, risks and investments related to AI and digital transformation.
• Translate business challenges into practical and scalable AI solutions, ensuring alignment between business needs, technology capabilities, governance requirements and responsible AI principles.
