Job summary

TORM is seeking an Agency Manager to join its global husbandry team. You will coordinate vessel husbandry needs across our fleet, acting as the main conduit between ships, internal teams, and external agents in a fast-paced, international setting.

You will drive efficient service delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with Vessel Management, Marine HR, HSSE, and Vetting to meet high standards of safety and performance.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience from shipowners or ship managers agency teams.
• Team-player with a positive mindset.
• Resolution-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Persistency, proactiveness, analytical approach and is detail-oriented under pressure.
• Experience with IT systems, including advanced Excel skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Fully developed professional with a balanced 24/7 lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Identify, validate, and plan all vessel husbandry requirements.
• Act as the primary liaison between vessels, internal stakeholders, and external agents.
• Coordinate and supervise husbandry agents to ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
• Implement cost-optimization through advanced planning and consolidation of services.
• Manage CTM arrangements, OPA nominations, and ensure port-call coordination.
• Obtain, update, and audit Proforma, Final, and Supplemental Disbursement Accounts (DAs)
• Monitor agent performance and collect cross-departmental feedback to improve service levels.
• Ensure compliance with international regulations and TORM’s Sanctions & Trading Restrictions Program.
• Collaborate proactively with Vessel Management, Marine HR, HSSE, Vetting, and other internal stakeholders to align service requirements.

Your Role: Make an Impact

In this role, you will be part of our Husbandry Agency team spread across Mumbai, Houston and Manila as well as our wider team which is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will collaborate with peers across continents servicing our global fleet of product tanker vessels, working especially close with our vessel management teams.

Key Responsibilities

The role oversees the coordination of services during port calls, manages disbursement accounts, supervises agent performance, and ensures that all activities align with TORM’s standards, safety culture, and regulatory requirements.
