Job summary

FOSS is transforming its Group Accounting function and seeks an Accountant to take ownership of Accounts Payable. Based at our headquarters in Hillerød, Denmark, you will drive robust, efficient processes, collaborate across finance and the wider organization, and help implement automation and data-driven improvements.

You will lead AP activities, including vendor invoicing, PO reconciliations, and payment processes, while contributing to month- and year-end close in a large production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with progression from transactional execution towards analysis and process ownership—primarily Accounts Payable.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Documented experience with process optimization within accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Own Accounts Payable processes and drive robustness, efficiency and insight-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and across the organization.
• Vendor invoicing and vendor management.
• Vendor clearing and payment processing.
• PO handling and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
