Job summary

Blue Power Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Controller to advance automation and governance of AP, reconciliations, and month-end closing in Aalborg. You will own AP quality across entities and contribute to improving processes with Business Central and Continua, while applying Danish GAAP practices and fluent English and Danish communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end AP, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and provisions.
• Track record of standardizing and improving finance processes.
• ERP experience with Business Central and workflow tools like Continua; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of accounts payable and accounting quality across the company.
• Play an active role in month-end and year-end close, including financial controlling, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, intercompany accounting, and fixed assets.
• Act as a senior sparring partner in Operational Finance and share knowledge.
• Maintain governance through documented procedures, controls, approvals, and audit trail.
• Drive standardization and automation within AP and related processes.
• Support external audit and statutory reporting with reconciliations and documentation.
