Job summary

FOSS group is seeking an Accounting Lead at our headquarters in Hillerød, Denmark. You will own Accounts Receivable while leading the Group Accounting team, guiding day-to-day operations and driving the move to SAP S/4HANA and automated, analytical finance processes.

You will develop the team, ensure high-quality controls, and partner with the broader organization to deliver accurate financial insights. English required; Danish a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting with progression from transactional execution to analysis and process ownership (primarily AR)
• Hands-on AR experience: credit management, payment application, dunning/collections, and reconciliations
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Strong Excel skills and English proficiency; Danish is an advantage
• Experience leading more than one employee and developing others

Responsibilities

• Own Accounts Receivable processes: bookings, debtor clearing, credit management, dunning and collections
• Lead, coach and develop the Group Accounting team; ensure quality and timely deliverables
• Drive transition to SAP S/4HANA, automation, and data-driven analytical work
• Build a collaborative, high-performance team culture aligned with leadership principles
