A leading law firm is seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer / AI Engineer (m/f/d) to develop innovative AI-powered Legal Tech solutions. You'll need solid skills in Python and some JavaScript, and fluency in both German and English (B2+). We are currently filling a key role as (Senior) Software Engineer / AI Engineer (m/f/d) at a leading law firm.
In this position, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of AI-powered Legal Tech solutions to automate and optimize legal processes from conception to productive operation.
We are seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer / AI Engineer (m/f/d) Legal Tech with a passion for innovative AI solutions, eager to drive technological advancements within the team and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary colleagues.
You should possess solid Python and some JavaScript Frontend skills, alongside fluent German and English language proficiency (at least B2 level for both).
Furthermore, experience in prompt engineering and utilizing state-of-the-art AI solutions to bolster your engineering capabilities is essential.
* A degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or an equivalent academic background.
* Exceptional Python proficiency coupled with a proven track record in backend development (e.g., Django or similar frameworks).
* Adeptness in CI/CD pipeline management (preferably GitHub Actions) and automating build, test, and deployment cycles.
* Practical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Bicep or Terraform) for routine operations.
* Hands-on experience with frontend development using React or comparable modern JavaScript frameworks.
* Proficiency in developing and managing applications within cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
* Understanding of Prompt Engineering, the creation of agentic AI systems, and strategic application of contemporary AI tools.
* Solid command of German (B2+) and English language skills.
In this role, you can work hybrid remote (2-3 days remote) from one of the offices in Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Munich, Aachen or Luxembourg. Flexible working hours are a matter of course. Should you relocate or travel for this role, your relocation or travel expenses will naturally be covered.
