We are seeking a Senior Cloud Applications Engineer (m/f/d)to join our talented team. Your work will play a crucial role in building RobCo into Europe’s leading company for automation solutions in the SMB sector.

In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while alsodeploying software in the cloud that powers our robotic systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, control system experts and product managers to build robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

Your experience in cloud architecture, automation, and modern app development will be instrumental in driving the success of our product.

• Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure:

  • Design and manage scalable, high-availability cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment.

  • Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for reliability and security.

  • Optimize cloud costs and implement best security practices for identity, access, and compliance.

• Full Stack Development:

  • Develop and maintain web and application interfaces for cloud-based robotics solutions.

  • Build scalable back-end services using Python, Node.js, or Go.

  • Implement front-end components using Vue.js, React, or similar frameworks.

  • Ensure smooth integration between cloud infrastructure and robotics software.

• End-to-End Software Delivery:

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

  • Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing, including unit-, integration-, and system-level tests.

• Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Mentor junior developers, share technical expertise, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

  • Work with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Advocate for best practices in cloud security, automation, and reliability.

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and fullstack development.

• Technical Skills:

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation.

  • CI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Ansible.

  • Programming Languages: Python, Node.js, Go, or C++.

  • Front-end Frameworks: Vue.js, React, or Angular.

  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).

  • Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana.

• Domain Knowledge:

  • Experience working with distributed systems and microservices.

  • Understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud cost optimization.

  • Familiarity with robotics, IoT, or edge computing is a plus.

  • Familiarity with MLOps or data engineering is a plus.

• Soft Skills:
