Job summary

Skyborn Renewables is seeking a WTG Package Manager in Hamburg to lead the full lifecycle of the wind turbine generator package across all project phases. You will handle commercial and contractual aspects, including tendering, negotiations, and contractor performance, ensuring alignment with governance and project objectives.

You will drive interface management with other teams, oversee budget, schedule, risk, quality, and reporting, and lead technical delivery from resources to handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of offshore wind or large-scale infra project experience.
• Proven track record of managing WTG packages or comparable engineering scopes.
• Strong experience in contract management, supplier coordination, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional project execution.
• Fluent in English; additional languages and international mobility are advantageous.

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of the WTG package, including tendering, negotiations, contractor performance, variations, and claims management.
• Drive effective interface and stakeholder management, coordinating closely with other package teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Oversee package budget, schedule, risk, quality, and reporting, providing clear visibility and supporting project governance and decision-making.

Your profile:

• Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical discipline, with a strong understanding of offshore wind and WTG technology.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore wind or large-scale infrastructure projects, including package management or technical leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record of managing WTG packages or comparable engineering scopes throughout project delivery.
• Strong experience in contract management, supplier coordination, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional project execution.
• Solid project management, commercial, planning, budgeting, and reporting capabilities, with the ability to drive performance and delivery.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and negotiation skills; additional languages and international mobility are advantageous.
