Keylime Consultants are working with an established international organisation that is looking to strengthen its internal HR technology team with the appointment of a Workday HCM Specialist.
This opportunity is particularly well suited to someone looking to develop their career further within Workday. The organisation is open to candidates who may not yet be dedicated Workday specialists but who already have a strong understanding of HR processes and HR systems and are keen to build deeper Workday configuration expertise.
You may currently be working within HR and using Workday regularly as part of your role, with a strong interest in systems and HR technology. Alternatively, you may already be an HRIS specialist working with another major platform such as SAP, Oracle or other enterprise HRIS and looking for the opportunity to cross-train into Workday.
Working closely with HR, IT and business stakeholders, you’ll support the organisation’s Workday Core HCM and Recruiting landscape, helping to translate business requirements into effective system solutions. Depending on your existing experience, you’ll receive support to develop your Workday configuration skills while gradually taking greater ownership of business processes, system enhancements and ongoing platform development.
You’ll also gain exposure to testing, release management, integrations, EIBs, data imports and exports and future Workday rollout activity. Over time, there will be opportunities to broaden your knowledge into additional areas such as Talent Optimisation and Learning.
This is a hybrid role based in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Candidates will need to live within reasonable commuting distance of the office or be willing to relocate, as the position cannot be performed on a fully remote basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career within the Workday ecosystem. You’ll join a stable, internationally operating organisation with an established HR technology environment and a long‑term commitment to developing its Workday platform.
Rather than requiring you to arrive as a fully developed Workday specialist, the organisation is open to investing in someone with the right transferable experience and aptitude. You’ll have the opportunity to build your Workday knowledge through hands‑on exposure to configuration, system enhancements and project activity, while gradually taking greater ownership of the platform as your experience develops.
The position also offers flexible and family‑friendly working arrangements within a hybrid model based in Mülheim an der Ruhr, alongside modern technology, a well‑established IT environment and a comprehensive benefits package.
