Zusammenfassung

OSM Thome is seeking an experienced Winch Operator for offshore pipe-laying operations worldwide. You will operate anchor winch systems, support vessel positioning, and coordinate offshore deck activities on moored S-Lay barges or semi-submersible pipelay vessels.

Candidates must have at least three years' offshore experience as Winch Operators, with multi-point spread mooring configurations and the ability to coordinate 10+ winches simultaneously. Rotation and on-board salary discussed.

Qualifikationen

• Experience coordinating 10+ winches simultaneously on multi-point spread mooring systems (8/10/12-point configurations).

We are seeking experienced offshore personnel with demonstrated expertise in winch and anchor handling. Candidates must have at least three (3) years’ offshore experience as Winch Operators on moored S-Lay barges or semi‑submersible pipelay vessels, with practical experience operating winches during marine pipelay, mooring, and anchor‑handling operations. Applicants must hold current offshore certifications and show a strong commitment to HSE, safe work practices, and effective teamwork in multicultural offshore settings. Responsibilities include operating anchor winch systems, supporting vessel positioning, and coordinating offshore deck operations.

• Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly salary paid on board only.
• Rotation: 35/35 or 112/28 days on/off depending on a project
• Contract : Renewed yearly
• Taxation: Taxes paid in the country of operations

Requirements / Qualifications / Competence:
