Job summary

Niologic is building a leading consultancy for Product Engineering for AI and Location Intelligence in Germany. We are expanding to a 50-person team in retail and public security and require a working student to contribute to data products built on cloud tech and API-driven frontends.

Your tasks include SQL-based data structures, data pipelines with data quality checks, and Infrastructure as Code for core components. On-site at the Cologne office at least 2 days a week.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Python and SQL ELT is required.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and ERD/BPMN is preferred.
• Strong German and English language skills to understand data.

Responsibilities

• Implement SQL-based data structures and pipelines.

At Niologic, we are building the leading consultancy for Product Engineering for AI and Location Intelligence in Germany. Tasks

As a working student, you will work on modern data products that rely on the latest cloud technology and API-driven frontends. Your tasks will be:

• Implementation of SQL-based data structures
• Planning and Implementation of data pipelines incl. data quality checks
• Implementation of Infrastructure as Code for underlying components

Requirements

As a motivated team player with commitment and initiative, you should also have the following skills to fit into our team:

• Good experience in data engineering using Python and SQL ELT
  (we are not looking for implementations of dask/arrow/pandas),
• Good experience in datawarehouse concepts,
• Ability to craft ERD and BPNM and communicate ideas and plans to the team in a clean and structured manner,
• Good language skills in German and English which allow you to understand the underlying data,
• (Nice to have) Experience in data quality checks using frameworks like DBT
• Willing to work on site at the office at least 2 days a week
