Job summary

Amerequip in Kiel, Germany is seeking a skilled welder to ensure the quality of all welded parts and processes. You will be responsible for reading blueprints and diagrams and performing wire welding with .035 and .045 wires in a busy production environment.

You must be able to read measuring devices, use various hand tools, and follow simple procedures such as scrap tickets, reject tags, and MI changes. Physical requirements include standing 10+ hours, lifting 20-50 lbs, and wearing weld

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams.
• Reads and uses measuring devices correctly.
• Follows simple procedures such as scrap tickets, reject tags and MI changes.
• Operates and handles hand tools.
• Welds using .035" and .045" wire with quality focus.

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible to ensure quality of all welded parts and processes
• Must have the ability to wire weld .035 & .045 wire
• Able to read various measuring devices
• Able to read and understand blue prints and diagrams
• Must be able to use various hand tools
• Must be able to remember and follow simple procedures such as scrap tickets, reject tags and MI change

Physical requirements:

• Standing is a continuous daily job requirement; 10+ hours a day
• Lifting 20-50 lbs. is continuous
• Lifting over 50 lbs. is occasional and requires the use of a hoist
• Pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting and stooping is a continuous daily requirement
• Reaching, grasping and repetitive movement is a continuous daily requirement
• Required to wear weld helmet, safety glasses, ear plugs, weld jacket, sleeves, gloves, steel toe shoes
• Repetitively work overhead using a heavy weld whip
