Generac seeks a skilled welding technician to perform safe welding tasks, interpret engineering drawings, and support robotic welding operations.

The role requires basic welding experience, a solid understanding of welding fundamentals, and the ability to work well in a team under safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or certification is required.
• Internal written and physical weld test.
• An understanding of welding fundamentals.
• Basic welding experience and/or training.
• Basic knowledge of Mig Welding Equipment.
• Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.

• Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
• Provide training to new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.

• Assist with robotic welder.
• Additional duties as assigned.
