Pro Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join their manufacturing team in Mannheim. The role focuses on accurately fitting and assembling metal components before welding, reading blueprints, and performing MIG welding with precision.

This hands-on position requires the ability to read drawings, take precise measurements, and produce quality welds. A pre-employment background check is required, and a 2nd shift is noted.

Qualifications

• Use hand and power tools to prepare and finish components.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabrication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to accurately fit and assemble metal components before welding.

This is a hands‑on position for someone who can read blueprints, take accurate measurements, and produce quality welds.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay: $26 - $30 an hour plus 15% differential

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Fit, align, tack, and weld metal components and assemblies
• Perform MIG welding on various metal components
• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools
• Use hand and power tools to prepare and finish components
• Grind, clean, and prepare welds as needed
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre‑employment background check
