Metalworker / Fabricator (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated Metalworker / Fabricator with basic welding experience. In this role, you will support the production of metal and piping components.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing, aligning, and tack welding components and assemblies according to technical drawings.
• Operating and monitoring orbital welding equipment.
• Loading, positioning, and securing workpieces for the welding process.
• Performing visual inspections and quality checks.
• Carrying out basic finishing and post‑processing work on welded components.
• Supporting manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance activities as required.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Completed vocational training as a Metalworker, Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter, Industrial Mechanic, or a comparable technical trade.
• Basic welding experience, particularly in tack welding and metal fabrication.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in operating orbital welding systems.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Good technical understanding and hands‑on approach.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, and quality‑conscious working style.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid Class B driving licence is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in pipework, plant construction, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience working with stainless steel components.
• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of welding processes and quality requirements.
