Jobtailor seeks an accomplished leader to head Product and Design for robotic sidewalk logistics. You will translate company strategy into actionable roadmaps, partner with multidisciplinary teams, and champion user-centered design to deliver safe, scalable solutions.

You will foster a data-driven culture, hold teams accountable, and drive the business toward expanding last-mile sidewalk delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of progressive leadership in product management or design
• Experience leading and developing product teams and senior leaders
• Proven track record translating strategy into prioritized product roadmaps
• Ability to communicate strategy to executives and cross-functional teams
• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, mobility, or complex hardware/software systems (preferred)
• Experience managing B2B or B2B2C products (preferred)

• Lead the Product and Design team in building future robotic sidewalk logistics products
• Raise the bar, identify high-impact opportunities and big bets, and articulate product direction and rationale
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Data, Business Development, Program Management, Safety, Policy, and other leaders
• Align priorities, navigate tradeoffs, and translate company strategy into coordinated execution
• Develop and uplevel the product management and design team
• Foster intellectual curiosity, measurable experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration
• Establish product and design quality standards and improve processes for business opportunities, requirements, validation, communication, and maintenance
• Serve as a leadership team member and contribute to company-wide strategy and execution
• Establish roles, expectations, decision rights, and accountability
• Deliver customer and public value while expanding the sidewalk delivery business
• Translate corporate strategy and customer needs into product priorities and investment decisions
• Analyze customers, users, competitors, and market dynamics to inform product direction and design principles
• Champion data-driven product decisions using quantitative and qualitative insights
• Balance near-term needs with scalable, long-term product capabilities
• Maintain a product roadmap with prioritized initiatives, milestones, and outcomes
• Lead the Design function and establish a cohesive design vision
• Champion user-centered design and incorporate customer and end-user insights
• Build scalable design practices, systems, and standards
• Simplify complex technical capabilities into effective user experiences
• Integrate design early as a strategic product capability
• Deliver public safety-focused design from Industrial Design to Operational Tools

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, design, or related technology leadership roles
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing product teams, including managing senior product leaders and/or multidisciplinary organizations
• Demonstrated experience owning product strategy and roadmaps for complex technology products from concept through commercialization and scale
• Proven ability to translate company strategy, customer needs, and technical capabilities into clear product priorities and measurable business outcomes
• Experience communicating product, design, and technical strategy to senior internal and external stakeholders
• Strong people leadership capabilities, including recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
• Preferred: experience with robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, mobility, logistics, or complex hardware and software systems
• Preferred: experience with physical-world products involving safety, reliability, hardware constraints, operational performance, and user experience
• Preferred: experience overseeing Product Management and Product Design organizations
• Preferred: experience developing B2B or B2B2C products
• Preferred: experience integrating hardware, software, data, operational tooling, and customer-facing experiences
• Preferred: experience with fleet operations, marketplaces, logistics, last-mile delivery, or high-volume operational environments
• Preferred: experience scaling product organizations during rapid growth
• Preferred: experience commercializing emerging technology
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, design, business, or a related field is listed as preferred; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus
