BESTSECRET in Berlin is seeking a transformative VP Logistics Excellence & Loss Prevention to lead a cross-functional organization of about 7–8 direct reports and ~100 indirect staff across Germany, Poland, and Switzerland. You will report to the Senior Vice President Logistics and drive operational excellence, standards, investments, and scalable changes to support future growth.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, fulfillment, e-commerce, retail, supply chain, or operations environments.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed operations across multi-site networks.
• Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
• Demonstrated success in transformation, continuous improvement, automation, and change initiatives.
• Strong experience developing business cases, prioritizing investments, and managing project budgets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English required; German or Polish strongly preferred.

About The Role

As the VP Logistics Excellence & Loss Prevention, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President Logistics, you will be a key member of our Logistics Leadership Team and lead a cross-functional organization of approximately 7–8 direct reports and around 100 indirect employees across Germany, Poland, and Switzerland.

In this cross-site executive role, you will drive operational excellence and own critical business outcomes across Customer Satisfaction & Quality, Inventory, Loss Prevention, Cost & Process Efficiency, and Logistics Transformation. You will shape standards, performance, and investment priorities across our logistics network while ensuring scalable operations that support BESTSECRET's future growth.

You will lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary organization encompassing Logistics Quality Management, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, B2C Packaging, Clearing Services, Loss Prevention & Supply Chain Security, and 3PL Management for Customer Returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic & Operational Leadership: Oversee and inspire multiple specialized teams across BESTSECRET's logistics network in Germany, Poland, and Switzerland. Lead an organization of approximately 7–8 direct reports and around 100 indirect employees, including blue-collar teams.
• Performance Ownership: Drive KPIs related to customer defects, inventory differences, process efficiency, service levels, and overall logistics costs.
• Process Architecture & Optimization: Design and continuously improve scalable end-to-end logistics, fulfillment, and returns processes.
• Transformation & Investment Management: Own and prioritize logistics transformation initiatives across the network. Develop business cases, evaluate investment opportunities, manage project budgets, and ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Vendor & Site Management: Own and optimize relationships with third-party logistics partners, including the strategic management of our logistics service provider in Sulechów, plus returns operations in Świebodzin and St. Gallen.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage operational, financial, and customer-related data to identify opportunities and solve complex challenges.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as a collaborative bridge between the shopfloor, site leadership teams, executive stakeholders, and corporate functions.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, fulfillment, e-commerce, retail, supply chain, or operations environments.
• Proven experience managing geographically dispersed operations and multi-site networks.
• Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
• Demonstrated success in transformation, continuous improvement, automation, and change initiatives.
• Strong experience developing business cases, prioritizing investments, and managing project budgets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
