BESTSECRET Group sucht eine/n Head of Payroll zur Führung des Payroll-Teams und Gewährleistung einer pünktlichen, korrekten Abrechnung in Deutschland. Sie arbeiten eng mit lokalen Stakeholdern und externen Anbietern zusammen und koordinieren auch europäische Payroll-Projekte.

Sie verfügen über mehrjährige Erfahrung in der deutschen Abrechnung, Führungsqualitäten sowie fundierte Kenntnisse in Steuern, Sozialversicherung und Arbeitsrecht.

Qualifikationen

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Lohn- und Gehaltsabrechnung, ideal in Deutschland.
• Nachweisbare Führungs- und Teamentwicklungsfähigkeiten.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in deutschen Abrechnungsprozessen, Steuern und Sozialversicherung.

Aufgaben

• Führung, Coaching und Weiterentwicklung des Payroll-Teams.
• Sicherstellung einer zeitnahen, korrekten Abrechnung in Deutschland.
• Koordination europäischer Payroll-Aktivitäten mit lokalen Stakeholdern und externen Anbietern.
• Einhaltung steuer-, sozialversicherungs- und arbeitsschutzrechtlicher Vorgaben.
• Audit-Unterstützung sowie Zusammenarbeit mit Finance für Abrechnungsbuchungen.
• Prozessoptimierung von Payroll-Systemen und Schnittstellen.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Payroll team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
• Ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant execution of German payroll operations.
• Coordinate and oversee European payroll activities in collaboration with local stakeholders and external payroll providers.
• Ensure compliance with payroll-related tax, social security, and labor law requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and support payroll tax audits, social security audits, as well as internal and external audits.
• Partner closely with Finance to ensure accurate payroll accounting, account reconciliations, and resolution of payroll-related discrepancies.
• Continuously optimize payroll processes, systems, and interfaces to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Lead and contribute to national and international payroll and HR projects.
• Prepare and analyze payroll-related reports, KPIs, and management information.

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in payroll, including in-depth knowledge of German payroll processes and regulations.
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of German payroll tax, social security, and labor law requirements.
• Experience working with international payroll organizations and managing external payroll providers.
• Experience supporting payroll tax and social security audits as well as compliance reviews.
• Strong project management and process improvement skills.
• Strong understanding of payroll systems, processes, and interfaces, with the ability to drive system enhancements and digital solutions. Experience with P&I LOGA is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
