Privatal, a private equity-backed SaaS group, seeks a VP Finance in Germany to lead the finance function during a scaling phase and exit-readiness. You will own budgeting, FP&A, reporting and KPI development, partner with senior management and the PE sponsor, drive cash flow, working capital, and M&A integration while professionalising the group’s financial control environment.

Qualifikationen

• Senior finance leadership experience at VP Finance, Finance Director or CFO level.
• Experience in PE-backed environments strongly preferred.
• Background in SaaS, software, technology or recurring-revenue businesses.
• Strong FP&A, reporting and commercial finance capabilities.
• Exposure to M&A and post-merger integration.
• Experience scaling and professionalising a finance function.
• Previous involvement in exit, transaction or exit-readiness processes advantageous.

We are supporting a private equity-backed SaaS business with c.€50m ARR in the appointment of a VP Finance.

The company is entering an important phase of its development, with an active buy-and-build strategy and a clear focus on scaling and professionalising the organisation ahead of a future exit.

Reporting into senior leadership and working closely with the PE sponsor, the VP Finance will take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in driving the next stage of value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile

• Exposure to M&A and post-merger integration
• Experience scaling and professionalising a finance function
• Previous involvement in an exit, transaction or exit-readiness process would be highly advantageous
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and partnering closely with senior management and investors
